Order waste management services for your property
We empty our customers’ waste containers in 12 municipalities in Western and Eastern Uusimaa. The collection of mixed waste must be arranged for every residential property, including holiday homes. In the largest urban areas, biowaste must also be sorted on the property.
Emptying of containers for different waste types is ordered from Rosk’n Roll. You can also rent a waste container from us at an affordable price.
We also empty sludge generated in connection with housing (read more at the bottom of the page).
Three options for you
Every residential property must be connected to waste management. There are three different options for detached houses and holiday homes:
- waste container(s) in your own yard
- joint use of a waste container with a neighbour
- use of a mixed waste point (to be agreed with customer service) if the waste truck cannot reach the property

What waste is collected from the property?
Ordinary rubbish bags and other small amounts of mixed waste are placed in the property’s mixed waste container.
- You can rent a waste container that suits your household size (140 l – 660 l) from us.
- Order an emptying service from us by contacting our customer service. The most common emptying interval is 2 weeks.
- If you sort biowaste separately, the emptying interval can be extended.
Biowaste must be sorted and collected separately on all properties with at least three apartments and in detached houses and holiday homes occupied year-round in the following urban areas:
- Lohja’s largest continuous urban area, Nummela urban area and its surroundings in Vihti, Porvoo urban area and Nikkilä and Söderkulla urban areas in Sipoo.
Order the emptying of the biowaste container from us; the waste container rental is included in the emptying price.
Glass, plastic and carton packaging and metal must be sorted and collected separately if there are at least five apartments. The obligation does not apply to properties in sparsely populated areas.
A smaller property can also join the collection of packaging waste alone or with a neighbour by agreeing on it with us. A multi-compartment container is a convenient option (read more below)

Multi-compartment service
Our multi-compartment service makes recycling easy for residents of detached houses. Multi-compartment collection uses two containers. Carton, metal and glass and plastic packaging are sorted into a four-compartment container. A mixed waste container and, if necessary, a biowaste container are always placed next to the multi-compartment container.
Joint use of a waste container with neighbours
You can use a shared waste container with your neighbour for all the waste type collections we organise, i.e. mixed waste, biowaste, carton, metal, plastic packaging and glass packaging. A multi-compartment container can also be shared.
The invoice can be divided directly as agreed between the users.
Rent a waste container from us
You can rent a waste container conveniently and affordably by contacting our customer service. In this case, a waste container for the yard is fully fit for purpose, and if the container breaks, for example, we will bring you a new one.
Emptying of sludge
If the property is not part of the municipal sewer network or water cooperative, the property owner must order the emptying of the cesspool or septic tank.
Sludge transports are ordered from Rosk’n Roll in all municipalities in Western Uusimaa and in Askola, Pornainen and Sipoo in Eastern Uusimaa.
In Porvoo, Loviisa and the archipelago, sludge tank emptying can be ordered from Rosk’n Roll starting from 1 September 2026. Until then, the property owner must order the emptying of the tank from a service provider of their choice in these areas.
Select the desired service
Choose between these four emptying options. Option number 1 is the least expensive and number 4 (the on-call option) is the most expensive.
- Regular emptying is carried out according to the emptying schedule agreed with the property owner during certain weeks. Regular emptying is carried out on weekdays from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. The schedule for regular emptying can be changed if necessary. Changes must be made no later than seven weekdays before the desired emptying week.
- Emptying on request is a one-time emptying service requested specifically by the property owner. It is carried out within seven working days of receiving the order. Emptying on request is carried out on weekdays from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- The specific emptying service is carried out within three working days of receiving the order and/or at the time agreed with the customer. The specific emptying service is carried out on weekdays from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Emergency emptying is carried out as agreed on the same or the next day, depending on the urgency. Emergency emptying is also carried out on weekends and at night.

Sludge tank emptying prices
The emptying fee includes the emptying of a sludge tank and the removal of sludge. The fee depends on the volume of the removed sludge.
