Rosk’n Roll handles waste management for residents in Eastern and Western Uusimaa:
- We collect waste from households, i.e. we empty your waste containers.
- We maintain a network of reception points for waste: at manned waste stations, at recycling points and in cabinets for hazardous waste.
- We empty households’ sludge tanks.
- We arrange the recycling of waste materials.
- We offer waste management and sorting advice.
Are you taking your waste to a waste station?
At Rosk’n Roll’s waste stations, we receive a wide range of different waste types, e.g. electrical appliances and garden waste. The waste stations can be visited during opening hours. A large proportion of waste can be disposed of free of charge if it is sorted correctly.
Do you need emptying services for your property?
Every residential property must be connected to waste management. At least mixed waste must be collected from both permanent dwellings and holiday homes, and bio waste must also be collected in the largest urban areas. We are also responsible for emptying sludge tanks.
Useful tips for sorting waste at home
Do your bit for the environment and sort your waste. Use the bins in the yard, take your packaging waste to a recycling station or visit one of our waste stations. We will help you sort it.

Uudenmaan jätelautakunta (Waste Board of Uusimaa) issues the waste management regulations and fees for 12 municipalities in Uusimaa. The regulations apply to all the residents of the area.
In Finland, waste management is paid for with fees collected from waste producers and not with tax money, for example. Everyone is responsible for and pays for their own waste.
Basic waste management fee
The basic fee is an apartment-specific monthly fee that is based on the waste fee specified by the waste management authority (in Finnish).
It is used to fund municipal waste management tasks, such as the collection of hazardous waste, waste stations’ services and waste advice.

The emptying of waste containers and sludge tanks in residential properties is charged according to the ordered service.

Waste stations’ reception fees
- At waste stations, most waste types are received from households free of charge if they are sorted correctly.
- Chargeable waste includes, for example, mixed waste, which is priced according to volume.
- Smaller waste stations do not receive all waste types. You can bring a limited amount of waste at a time.
